7/17 Nos. 43 And 45 14.4.67 G.V. II
2 houses, now offices. Left-hand block: early C19. Red brick with hipped slate roof. 2 storeys. Rendered plinth, gauged heads, dentil brick eaves cornice, end stacks, and 2 ridge stacks off-centre to left and right. 9 bays, central 5 slightly projecting. Glazing bar sashes, those in centre on ground floor with serrated blind boxes. Central 6-panelled door with radial fanlight and wide moulded architrave with impost mouldings. Right-hand block: early C18 refronting of older building. Red brick with tuck pointing. Old tile roof hipped to front off-centre to right. 2 storeys. Rendered plinth, gauged heads, moulded plat band, moulded cornice, parapet, and ridge stack. 3 bays, segmental headed sashes, those on first floor with glazing bars. Later 6-panelled door in left-hand bay with plain surround and bracketed flat hood. No. 43 was formerly part of Blatch's Brewery.
