On ground floor timber canted bay windows on stone bases, linked by a canopy which is covered by stone slates. On first floor are 2-light rebated and chamfered mullioned windows with stone mullions. The attic is lit by two dormers. Door at centre with chamfered surround. Buttress to right of facade. Right-hand gable coped. End chimney. Interior: middle room on ground floor has chamfered spine beam. A photograph of c1900 shows that the canopy continued to the left to cover a canted bay window in the left-hand bay now part of No 73. At that time the attic dormers were over the first and third bays. (Houghton, C C: A Walk About Broadway, 1980).
