GLATTON GREAT NORTH ROAD TL 18 NE (East Side) 5/21 Tea Kettle Barn c.500 metres north of Glatton Lane
II
Barn, possibly C18. Timber-framed and weatherboarded with red brick and gault brick plinth. Corrugated iron roof covering formerly thatched. Three bay threshing barn, centre bay with opposing double boarded doors. Date tiebeam '1600' and some initials, with double braces. Half hipped side purlin roof with ridge piece. Similar to barn at Ermine Lodge (q.v.).
