HARTLEBURY CP HARTLEBURY SO 87 SW Carr memorial about 1/67 5 metres north of north aisle of Church of St James
II GV Chest tomb. c1841. Ashlar. Greek sarcophagus with tapering sides supported by claw feet at corners under flat canopy supported on four Tuscan columns, shallow ridged and hipped top. South side: "In the vault beneath/ are deposited the remains of/ Robert James Carr D D/ Lord Bishop of Worcester/ who departed this life/ April 24th 1841/ in the 67th year of his age".
