Includes: No.2 HADDON ROAD. 2 houses. c1860. Grey brick with red brick dressings and slate roofs with 3 side wall and 2 gable stacks, all coped. Plinth, string courses. Windows are mainly round-arched plain sashes with moulded brick polychrome heads. 2 storeys; 7-window range. Symmetrical front has central bay with 2 windows and above, a full-width continuous window with wooden mullions, valanced top and larger central light. Above and behind, a large round-headed hooded dormer. Gabled side bays have each 2 windows with enriched keystones and above, a blind roundel. Below, a square brick bay window with fretwork valance and a triple round-arched window with round shafts, brick pilasters and stiff-leaf capitals. Beyond, to right, a set-back entrance bay with a square projecting porch to left, with round-arched doorway, brick pilasters with stiff-leaf capitals, panelled double door and fanlight. Above, a single window. To right again, a shallow shouldered projection with a first-floor window. Both windows have enriched keystones. Left return, to Haddon Road, has an off-centre gable with 2 windows and a round window above. Below, 2 windows to left and a recessed door to right.
