The Oddfellows Hall. Dated 1872.
Coursed squared limestone with gritstone dressings, vermiculated quoins, moulded and boldly projecting eaves cornice and end wall brick stacks having decorated caps. Hipped roof with Welsh slates and finials at the end of the main ridge.
Two storeys, three bays, the central bay defined by giant pilasters with coped ogee gable above, incorporating a clock face and surmounted by a finial. Ground floor windows are coupled sashes beneath shallow arched heads within a wider four-centred arch with carved keyblock, glazed fanlight and double doors, each with three panels. Above doorway, a two-light window with semi-circular headsprings from a central column within a recessed arch with a decorated spandrel, all beneath a semi-circular head with a keyblock. Above, an inscription reads 'Oddfellows Hall 1872'.
