Gate lodge. Circa 1755 with C20 alterations to rear. Red brick with plinth and impost band to 3 tall recessed arched panels on each front with keystones. Dentil brick eaves cornice to hipped old tile roof with C20 stack. 2 storeys; 3 bays, ground floor glazing bar sashes and first floor circular windows. Central C20 brick porch with triangular pediment and 5-panelled door. This was formerly one of 2 lodges to Calcot House. B.O.E, Berkshire, p.110.
