2. Early C19. Red brick former malthouse range. Corner position where Fairfield Road is joined by several other streets. Red brick with eaves cornice and hipped slate roof. 2 storeys. Eastern elevation has brick end pilasters which define rounded corner of building. Southern elevation has western advanced wing of painted brick. Small windows under eaves, lower windows have segmental or gauged flat brick arches. Some modern windows and doors. Gabled hoist faces east.
