Church. Circa 1875. Snecked rock-faced red sandstone with some yellow sand- stone dressings and tile roof. Comprises a nave, north and south transepts, north porch, north organ chamber, and south-east tower. The windows contain Geometrical tracery of various descriptions. The tower has angle buttresses to its outer corner, incorporating a stair tower and terminating with a large stone finial. The other corners of the tower, which has a parapet, have pinnacles. The paired bell openings are pointed with traceried heads. On both north and south sides the nave has three bays to the east of a porch. To the west there are two bays on both sides. On the south side there are 3-light windows with flat heads, and round windows above. On the north side the lower part is covered by mid-C20 additions. The west wall has similar additions, with two 2-light windows above flanking one of three lights. The transepts have 5-light windows. The east window is of three lights. Interior: nave divided by mid-C20 partition wall to west of porch entrances. Roof trusses rise from corbels, with alternate ones of false hammer-beam type. Trusses have upper and lower arch-braced collars linked by slim king-post. Roof boarded at upper collar level. To the west, north and south of the crossing the trusses are paired. At the crossing two trusses intersect. The chancel arch is moulded and pointed and has paired corbelled shafts as responds.
