House, now school. Mid C18, enlarged and rebuilt 1866 with further late C19
additions. Brick with slate roofs. 5 bay C18 block to north-west. 2 storeys.
Rusticated brick quoins. North front has C19 bow window to ground floor and
2 C19 sashes, the sashes under gauged skewback arches. 5 C18 sashes to first
floor with glazing bars and gauged skewback arches. C19 parapet conceals
gabled roof. Central panelled ridge stack. Single bay west return has one
first floor C18 sash as before and a C19 bow to ground floor. South and east
sides embedded in 1866 addition. Addition of 2 storeys. Full height porch
left of centre with half glazed door within Doric doorcase. Porch is canted
and lit through one sash each facet to each floor. 3 window bays to right.
Continuous parapet.
