TQ 2781 SW CITY OF WESTMINSTER KENDAL STREET, W2 53/32 (south-east side) 10.4.75 No 38 (Duke of Kendal) including No 36 Connaught Street. GV II Public House. Early C19. Brown brick in Flemish bond. Channelled stucco ground floor. Stucco dressings. 3 storeys, 4 storeys to No 36 which is partly rebuilt. Corner site. Connaught Street: No 38 3 bays, No 36 2 bays. Pilastered public house front with fascia and cornice. Sashes with glazing bars in architraves with hoods on consoles to No 38. Blind windows to left bays. Rounded angle. Kendal Street: entrance with fluted columns with feather capitals supporting a cornice. Sashes with glazing bars in architraves to 1st and 2nd floors.
