Two chest tombs approx 15m south of east end of Parish Church of Canford Magna

Group of 2 chest tombs. Mid-late C18. Limestone ashlar with
marble panels. Sides have incised oval and rectangular panels,
and moulded tops. The S tomb has sides with end sections with
oval panels containing acanthus leaf pattern, and a
rectangular sunken panel. The N tomb is much plainer and is
included for group value. Faded inscriptions commemorate
members of the Hart family.
