Former farmhouse. Early C19, altered C20. Red brick with whitewashed render, slate roof and brick end stacks. Double-depth plan. 2-storeys; 3-window range. Central 6-panel door with glazed top panels and reeded wood surround with sunk quatrefoil ornament to top angle blocks. Open, flat-roofed porch in front with slender Tuscan columns to front, pilasters to back and moulded entablature. 6/6-pane sashes to ground floor and 3/6-pane sashes to first floor, all with louvred external shutters. Cogged brick eaves. Left side elevation has 1-light casement window to ground floor, a 2-light C20 casement window to 1st floor and 4-pane window at attic level. 1-storey outshut to rear left and verandah to rear right. Attached single-storey former outbuilding range to right, of red brick in Flemish garden wall bond with slate roof and stepped brick eaves. Bay next to house is rendered and has 2-light casement window. 9-pane C20 sash window to right with cemented lintel. INTERIOR: front door opens into one end of shallow 2-storey staircase hall to right of entrance. Stair rises in one straight flight to first floor and has stick balusters, turned mahogany newel posts and mahogany handrail. Internal 16-pane first-floor window to enclosed landing and plasterwood cornice with rosettes. Double-depth sitting room beyond wall with original fireplace surround and C19 cast-iron grate, moulded plaster cornice and low double-leaf doors below sash window at garden end of room.
