2. Early C19 stuccoed facade No 107 with cornice and coped parapet, roof not visible 2 storeys, 2 windows; sashes with late C19 glazing. C19 shop front under heavy cornice. Shop window a 6 light, canted bay with splayed arched panes, vertical glazing bars only remain . Blocked doors. Nos l08 and 109. Some Timber framing behind facade. Cornice and parapet, the 2 eastern bays (originally 109) of painted brick. The main building of, 6 bays, has mansard slate roof with 4 dormers. 6 windows, sashes with glazing bars in moulded architraves 1St floor, french casements, with continuous cast iron balcony with hood. Wide doorway with Doric pilasters a and projecting cornice above. 2 doorways to the east of this with engaged Ionic columns. Carriageway arch through the ground floor with ceiling beams overhead. Inside, early C19 spiral iron staircase, some interior beams exposed in walls. and ceiling. Former Assembly Rooms now western part of hotel. Decorative interior features.
Nos 105 to 109 (consec) form a group.
