Row of 5 small town houses. c.1830-35, altered. Red brick in 5+1 English garden wall bond except No.67 which is in Flemish bond (Nos.64 and 66 now covered with roughcast and No.63 painted red), with sandstone dressings and slate roof (except No.66, now concrete tile). Double depth plan, each house single-fronted, with individual back extensions, and through-lobbies to the right except No.66 which has the lobby to the left. Two storeys over cellars, 2+1+1+2+2 bays, with a plain frieze and moulded gutter cornice. The doorways are to the left except that to No.65 which forms part of a triplet with No.66, with the lobby door between, and each has one step, a round-headed architrave with set-in Tuscan quarter-columns, plain lintel, and semi-circular fanlight with hollow-moulded surround, the fanlight of No.67 with radiating glazing bars but the others plain; Nos.65 and 67 have 6-panel doors (others altered); Nos.63 and 67 have lobby doors to right. All the windows have raised sills, those at ground floor have wedge lintels, and all have altered glazing; at No.63, which is wider than the others, the openings on the 2 floors are not vertically aligned. Cellar window mostly casements protected by gratings. Ridge chimneys. Rear and INTERIORS not inspected. The row forms part of a formerly complete set of late Georgian lower-middle class houses in this street.
