SZ48SW B 3399, Mottistone 1354-0/8/78 Barn adjacent to Mottistone Manor 18/01/67
GV II
Tithe Barn. Early C17 restored in C20 probably by Seely & Paget. Built of stone rubble with ashlar quoins. Tiled roof, gabled to one side and hipped to road. Deep plinth. Central stone 4 centred arched waggon entrance, restored at the top with 3 ventilation holes on each side. Side facing Mottistone Manor has 2 modern dormers and 2 brick buttresses. Interior has angled queen strut roof with through purlins but the roof structure is C20.
