2. 1628 date on chimney stack over right hand part. C18 left-hand added when the whole was encased in red brick with hipped tiled roof. Two-storeys and attic. Seven bay front. Sashes with glazing bars in moulded frames. Wide central Doric doorcase with fluted pilasters and entablature with segmental pediment and glazed and panelled door. Three hipped dormers with moulded eaves. Two brick ridge stacks, the right-hand has stone tablet dated 1628. Left-hand return 4 bays of sashes, some have thick glazing bars. At the rear, sashes and 2 round arched stair sash windows with thick glazing bars, 4 hipped dormers with moulded eaves and a fielded panel door with panelled pilasters and pedimented hood. Large external brick stack at rear. C18 gabled wing at east end at right angles with early C19 single storey addition in the angle at the rear. Interior: two staircases, one of 1628 with turned balusters, and the other Georgian.
