Includes: No.1 CHURCH STREET. Shop and flat. C16 with later alterations incorporating into range with 1 Church Street. Timber-framed and brick. Roof of black glazed pantiles. 2 storeys. South part wholly timber-framed with some brick. Half-glazed door to south with a 3-light casement to its right. Carved jetty bressumer with 3 orders of roll mouldings and 2 planes of staggered bars. First floor close studded and lit through a 2-light casement. North part brick cased. Plank door with one 3-light casement left and right. 5-light early C19 casement to first floor, the left and right metal lights opening. Gabled roof with a C18 ridge stack. Rear with 2 gabled dormers in roof and various brick and pantiled outshut extensions. INTERIOR. Main ground-floor bridging beam to south of stack with 2 orders of roll mouldings and bars. Similar south wall plate. Double wave-moulded bridging beam north of stack. Former north gable wall timber-framed at first floor. Roof boarded but much renewed.
