GV II
Maltings. Early C19. Rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. Hipped roof of large slates with stone ridges. Stands at rear of yard to No.13 (not included). South elevation facing churchyard of St Mary's of 3 storeys and basement; 5-window range. All openings small and square, with flat stone lintels. Basement has vertical bars in low openings; ground floor has glazing and horizontal bars. First floor has 3 equidistant 4-pane vertical sliding sashes, and second floor has one similar light at left end and one with top-hinged shutter at right end. Left return has steps to door at first-floor level. Elevation to yard has blocked basement opening, basement door in plain stone surround, a variety of openings including 2 horizontal-sliding sashes and inserted loading doors, the lower with concrete ramp. INTERIOR: not inspected.
