Dwelling, now shop with retail and storage accommodation above. Dated 1691 with C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed rubble to rear, render over brick to front. Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys, 2-window front range with rear wing, the plan comprising 3 units overall to all floors, the centre unit containing stairs. Front elevation remodelled and with inserted shop front and upper windows, with passage entry to left. To the rear, the original building appears to stop short of the passageway, where there is a straight joint in the stone wall. 2 inserted windows above the passage. Small window lighting stair with oculus dated 1691 above in main range. Gabled wing with C19 windows on each floor with segmentally-arched brick heads and brick jambs. INTERIOR: all internal framing survives intact except to shop on ground floor, all pegged with carpenters' marks. Stair with twisted balusters on rising string, moulded rail and ball finials to newels. Ceiling beams with shallow chamfer. King post roof with curved principals and large purlins.
