Details
ASHOVER SK3562 ABRAHAMS LANE, Milltown 1264-0/12/81 (South side (off)) Common Bank Cottage II House, possibly formerly a pair of cottages. Mid C18, with C20 alterations. Rubble carboniferous limestone with gritstone dressings, quoins, plain gables, end brick chimneys, and a Welsh slate roof having a stone slated eaves. South-east elevation of 2 storeys and 3 bays, formerly with 2 doorways, each with a massive surround and lintel. Both openings are now blocked, and incorporate C20 window frames. Centre doorway with C20 part-glazed door. Stacked 2-light flush-mullioned windows to north-east bay, with assortment of vertical sliding sashes, glazing bar casements, and fixed lights. South-west end with altered 2-light window, now with C20 2-light casement. The remaining 2 first-floor windows are C18 single-light glazing bar casements. North-east gable rendered.
