Details
ASHOVER SK3463 CHURCH STREET 1264-0/11/30 (West side) Old Post Office Cottage GV II House. Late C18 or earlier with alterations and extensions in C19 and C20. Regularly coursed squared gritstone blocks, with ashlar dressings, and a Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys and 2 bays. The ground-floor windows were restored c1990 and are paired glazing bar sashes in a stone surround with central mullion. At first-floor level there are tall 16-pane sash frames in flush stone surrounds, one large C20 with glazing bars and C20 planked door to right. Listed for Group Value.
