GV II
House, now offices. c1797, with mid C20 alterations. Brick
with rendered basement, painted ashlar dressings and slate
roof with a gable stack. Ground floor and first-floor sill
bands, slab-coped parapet. Windows have brick flat arches. 3
storeys plus basement and attics; 3-window range of 15-pane
sashes with late C20 imitation wrought-iron balconies. Above,
three 9-pane sashes and above again, a low pitched gabled
dormer with a 2-light glazing bar casement. Ground floor has
to left a wooden doorcase with Doric 3/4 columns and
dentillated cornice and pediment. Round arched doorway with
steps to renewed 6-panel door with fanlight. Below, a
segment-headed panelled door to the basement.
