Lodge. c1826, by CR Cockerell. Ashlar plinth; brick; Welsh
slate gabled roof; rendered brick ridge stack. Single storey
and attic: front has steps to vestibule under open pediment
with arch and pilasters, of ashlar: false 2-leaf door with 2
lights with glazing bars, in moulded architrave, and, in left
returned side, plain door in moulded architrave; cornice over;
figurehead over. Left returned side: three 2-light casements
under gauged brick flat arches. Right returned side: three
2-light casements under gauged brick flat arches; moulded
ashlar band to modillioned eaves, interrupted by gable dormer
with 2-light casement under gauged brick flat arch. Rear has
C20 part-glazed, panelled door, in moulded ashlar case,
leading to basement service-area with semi-circular ashlar
wall; ashlar band over.
