Town house, now hotel. Probably later C18 with earlier C19 alterations and additions; altered. Painted render on brick, slate roof on 2 levels. Double-depth plan with projected bay to right and set-back wing to left. Two storeys over basement, 5 windows plus 2-window wing; central doorway with C20 porch up steps; to the right of this, the projected bay with segmental bow to the front, 3 square 12-pane sashed windows to basement and 3 rectangular 12-pane sashes to ground floor, and coped parapet; otherwise, similar windows to basement and ground floor, altered windows to 1st floor. Gable copings with kneelers, gable chimneys. Left gable end has 2 windows to each floor. Interior not inspected.
