GV II
House, now public house. Mid C18 with C20 alterations. Coursed squared stone with painted ashlar quoins and dressings; Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings and ashlar and brick chimneys. 3 storeys; 4-window range. 6-panel door in third bay has overlight with patterned glazing bars, plain stone surround, and hood on shallow dentils. Wide inserted late C20 shallow bow window at left in plain surround with new masonry below. To right of door, sash with glazing bars in architrave; similar windows on first floor and smaller 4-pane sashes in similar surrounds on second floor, the top ones projecting from the architrave of the top entablature. Cyma-moulded eaves gutter cornice. Projecting quoins. Roof has end gable copings resting on cyma-moulded kneelers, and renewed end chimneys, the left on ashlar plinth. INTERIOR: not inspected.
