Houses, now restaurant and dwelling. Mid C19 front, to earlier
core. Stucco; shallow pitched slate roof; brick stack to
front, and rendered base to end stack.Three storeys; 3-window
range: margin-glazed sashes in beaded reveals; that to centre
having architrave with rosette-motif, under moulded pediment
on fluted consoles; those to left and right with shouldered
moulded architraves having vermiculated keystones; stone sills
on moulded corbels. Margin-glazed sashes with cambered heads
over, architraves rising into ornate frieze and eaves cornice.
Ground floor has C19 shopfront with central glazed
double-doors and canted plate glass windows with round heads
and enriched glazing shafts, under cornice with ornate
consoles on moulded pilasters. To left, pair of entrances,
having round heads with overlights (one blocked when surveyed), in moulded
cases, under moulded cornice. Left passage has timber-framing
with finely moulded ceiling beam.
