LEZANT REZARE SX 37 NE 6/62 Rezare Farmhouse
GV II
Farmhouse, now house. Mid-to late C17 with later additions and alterations. Rendered slate-stone with a little cob to top of back wall; roughly coursed slate-stone to additions; slate roofs. Original 3-bay house with lower gabled range parallel to rear. 2 storeys. 3-window front, early C20 casements except late C20 casement in matching style to lower right. Central lean-to glazed porch over 6-panel door (top panels glazed) with thin rectangular overlight. External end stack to left with lean-to former dairy abutting and integral end stack to right, both with red brick tops. Lateral stacks to back wall of parallel rear range. 2-storey lean-to attached to right gable end and 2-storey lean-to with rounded corner on road side to rear of rear range. Interior: Left ground-floor room has open fireplace with mutilated chamfered wood lintel and 2 cloam ovens; infilled doorway to former dairy to left. Central hall has early C20 glazed floor tiles and staircase. Open fireplace to right room has ogee stop to chamfered wood lintel and infilled cloam oven. Kitchen in parallel rear range has large paired open fireplaces to back wall. C17 collar truss roof to main range.
