General 1. 5113 Longwood Railway Viaduct, between national grid references SE 11351615 and SE 11571621 SE 1116 32/102 II 2. 1845-9. The contractor may have been Thomas Nicholson, who was employed by the company to build Stanedge Tunnel. Hammer dressed stone. Ashlar imposts and band. Parapet. Tapering piers. 20 round arches. This part of the line was opened on 1 August 1849.
