GV II
Millhouse, now house. Late C16, with late C17 extension, heightened in C19, to left and early C19 and C20 extension to right. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled thatch roof; stone slate roofs to extensions; left end stack of stone finished in brick. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Central C18 panelled door, blocked in; C20 doorway to right. Timber lintels over C20 three-light casements to left and, on first floor, C18 two-light leaded casements and wood-mullioned window with leaded-lights. Two-storey one-bay extensions to left and right. Rear: late C16 range has C18 four-panelled (2 glazed) door and stair-outshut to left; C20 extension to rear of right wing. Interior: chamfered beams, with heavy joists to room on left. Room to right has mid C18 panels above mid C18 fireplace with beaded architrave; room to left has carved brackets supporting beam above blocked open fireplace with wood bressumer and reset C17 ovolo-moulded stone fireplace, and C17 ribbed door, Central transverse late [16 timber-framed partition has blocked doorway with arched head; late C16 three-bay collar-truss roof with butt purlins. Room to left has late C17 stop-chamfered beam.
