Left-hand range with steeply pitched asbestos slate roof with deep overhanging eaves, gable ends and brick end stacks. Lower range on right with rag slate roof with gable ends, stone rubble stack on left- hand gable end, brick axial stack near centre of elevation and projecting truncated stone rubble stack on rear elevation, in line with axial stack. Left-hand house of 2 room and through passage plan with service room heated by rear lateral stack added to rear in circa C18, remodelled and extended in 1947. 2 storeys almost symmetrical 3-window front. Ground floor with wide C19 28-pane sash with crown glass and chamfered lintel, part glazed C20 door in centre and early C19 3-light casement to right with HL hinges. First floor with 3 early C19 3-light casements with crown glass and HL hinges. Interior partitions removed although cill and ceiling beams on left retain mortice- holes indicating position of partition. Fireplace in left-hand room altered with lintel renewed and fireplace in right-hand room altered with brick pier inserted. Cloam oven. Ceiling beams to both rooms chamfered with straight cut stops. Slate flag floor in left-hand room and granite floor to passage and right-hand room. Framed circa mid C20 stair. Roof timbers replaced in mid C20. Mill and millhouse adjoining on right-hand gable end, now converted to form one house. Mill wheel probably originally on right-hand gable end. The axial stack may have heated a first floor chamber. 2 storeys asymmetrical 2-window front.
