Farmhouse, now house. C15 manor house, altered C16, C17, also in early C18, early C19 and C20, when former attached barn to south east converted to form part of living accommodation. Rubble, stone dressings, roofs of pantiles, double Roman tiles and plain tiles with courses of stone tiles at eaves to west and north; 2 later ashlar ridge stacks. U-plan. 1½ storeys, with 2½ storey north wing and 2-storey south wing; east elevation has small central gable with raised coped verges, kneelers and finial, C19 2-light casement with ovolo mullion and hood mould, ground floor has 2-light casement with chamfered mullion and 3-light casement as in gable, blocked window to right. North wing has Perpendicular style windows in gable end (c.1800), 3-light window with trefoil heads, pointed arch, hood mould and relieving arch at ground floor, single light above with hollow-chamfered surround, pointed arch and hood mould, glazing bars; south elevation of wing has 2-bay loggia with Tudor arches on ground floor and 2-light casement, two 2-light casements under eaves. South wing has C20 door and first floor window to north, C20 door and window and upper loading door to east. North elevation has 2 windows, 2-light and 3-light casement at ground floor, two 2-light casements at first floor, 2 small gables rising nearly to ridge height each with single light, all windows with ovolo mullions and hood mould. West elevation has gable end of north wing with 2-light window at ground and first floor as at north; main ½ storey elevation has varied windows and 3 small C19 dormer gables each with 2-light casement; projecting gable end of C16 south wing to right has 2 stone lintels remaining from former windows, blocked door and C20 window to each side. South elevation has blocked late mediaeval door to right with moulded 4-centred arch, C20 window inserted, large external stack, wall stepped back twice to former barn, with C20 door and window, prominent long and short quoins. Interior: the C15 open-roofed hall of the west range, floored in C16 and now remodelled, large 4-centred arched fireplace, 5-bay roof, ceiled. Ground floor central room has 3-bay ceiling with very heavy beams, chamfered and stopped to north, fireplace with cambered head and chamfered surround. North wing has suspended lower ceiling in part, of 2 bays with heavy moulded beams and strapwork plasterwork, windows in very deep splayed reveals and walls about one metre thick; first floor room to west has coved and moulded plaster Elizabethan ceiling with fleur-de-lys, Tudor rose and lions, brattished wall-plate to east, remains of spiral stair in central chimney wall of north wing.
