United Reformed Church Hall (formerly listed as old Congregation School Rooms) SU 4767 SW 6/81 10.6.69

2. Circa 1857, formerly the Old Congregational School Rooms. Eastern and extended circa 1880. One storey with symmetrical, projecting 3 bay centre and later wings in similar style. Low-pitched hipped slate roof with projecting bracketted eaves. Multi-coloured stock brick with blue brick pilasters carrying entablature with blue brick frieze. Paved doorways in wide central bay with stucco surrounds and console-bracketted cornices. Narrow end bays with round arched porches, masks on imposts representing Milton, Whitfield, Watts and Raikes. Panelled plaque over central doorways inscribed "Congregational School Rooms". (Newbury Buildings Past and Present (1973) 73).
