Gazebo. Mid C18 restored 1980s. 2 storeys, red brick with yellow corners, plat bands on sides at wall plate level, parapet with stone coping. Hipped pyramidal old tiled roof, with half round ridge tiles over hips and wood ball finial. West wall of gazebo continues as tall red brick boundary wall between Nos 63 and 65. Ground floor has single sash window, with exposed boxes and small panes set in river wall, modern window in east side. First floor has canted oriel bay window over river, with weatherboarded spandrel. 3 sash windows with glazing bars, moulded wood cornice and parapet. North elevation has recessed half glazed door, with 2 flush lower panels, with moulded architrave surround, plain frieze, and flat moulded door hood supported on cut profiled consoles, giving entry to first floor room above 8 stone steps, with wrought-iron handrails. Restored iron railings above river wall linking gazebo to watergate approx 15m to east, a single storey timber-framed structure with weatherboarded sides, and weatherboarded panel above opening to river, carried on curved brackets. Moulded wood cornice and hipped pyramidal roof with half round ridge tiles covering hips. Gazebo and watergate restored 1982-84.
