In the entry for: TQ 2779 NE KNIGHTSBRIDGE SWl (north side) 87/2 Nos 62 and 64 16.2.87 II GV The description shall be amended to read: Bank. 1884-5 by F Porter for the London and County Bank; built by F Trollope & Co. Portland stone, slate roof. Three storeys plus basement and mansard attic. Five windows wide, with return to right. Horizontal rustication throughout height. Main entrance to left in Doric porch with pink granite columns. Subsidiary entrance to right. All windows square headed, those to ground floor large with pilasters between. Upper windows architraved, those to first floor pedimented. Ground floor slightly projecting. First and second floors united by fluted Corinthian half columns. Cornice. Balustraded parapet. Balustraded area.
