Former coaching inn, now shops, workshops. Early/mid C18 with single bay added to left at slightly later date. Brick, on stone plinth to original block, double Roman tile roof with wooden eaves fascia, brick string courses to original block, 3 brick stacks. Main front range, with long rear extensions on both sides having outhouses and workshops etc. 3 storeys. 4 windows, 12-pane sashes with moulded wood architraves and painted splayed brick voussoirs to 1st and ground floor in original block. 1st floor bow window in left hand bay. Replacement C19 sashes throughout ground floor. Large carriage arch left of centre with moulded wood jambs and lintel, and probably original timber doors. In centre at rear of original block, 2-storey bow extension withcurved glass windows.
