Barn and shelter shed. Barn dated 1765 with the initials RY with further brick marked 1825 with inscription NEW HLD suggesting the barn was re-roofed in 1825. Barn is built of coursed stone rubble with brick quoins and brick edged ventilation slits in 2 tiers. Half-hipped old tiled roof with weather-boarding to lower part of gable. Central cart entrances. Interior of 5 bays has roof construction of side purlins clasped on angled queen struts with diagonal tension braces. The softwood rafters and inserted plank ridge-piece appear to date from 1825. Attached to south west is a 3 bay shelter shed. This is of coursed stone rubble with hipped tiled roof. Open fronted supported on wooden piers on padstones and with wooden feeding rack behind.
