The list description should be amended to read:-
House. Core contains remains of mid C14 timberframed open hall with late C16 or early C17 floor joists and chimney breasts, extended and refaced in the mid C18 with early C19 extensions to form a U shape at the back, some C19 and C20 refenestration and small C20 extension to rear. Mainly tile hung but part brick with tiled roof and brick chimney stacks. Front range tile hung with half hipped roof to right hand side. 2 storeys and attics 5 windows 3 triple gabled dormers, moulded wooden eaves cornice. Irregular fenestration of mainly C20 mullioned and transomed windows but ground floor has to extreme left a 16-pane sash and to right of this a 12-paned sash central ground floor window is a mid C19 tripartite window with verticals only. Off central C20 door. Left side gable is tile hung with 2 C20 mullioned and transomed windows to 1st floor. Ground floor has casement with leaded lights and pintle hinges, to left is a two bay addition with 1 gabled tile hung dormer and 2 C20 mullioned and transomed casements. Early C19 lean-to addition built on in Stretcher bond with C20 brick extension in Sussex bond to extreme left. Right side gable of front range is tile hung with a base partly of sandstone. Half hipped gable. Casement to attic and 1 circular window to ground floor. Three-light C20 casement and wooden framed, leased window to basement. To the right hand side is a smaller half-hipped gable at 1 bay in English garden wall bond to ground floor and Stretcher bond to 1st floor. Modillion eaves cornice. 1 cambered sash above. Adjoining this is a 3 bay addition in Sussex bond having 3 C20 casements with cambered head linings, plank door with cambered head lining and cemented plinth. The interior of the courtyard is of early C19 Sussex bond brickwork with brick modillion cornice. Ground floor has 2 early C19 casements to left with leaded ground floor room has dais beam to original open hall with braltishing, roll moulding and run out stops assigned as median date of C1360 by carbon dating. One part has been cut through to take a grand- father clock. This room also has a late C16 or early C17 inserted ceiling with axial beam with 2½ inch wide chamber and timber tongue steps and straight cut joists. Wide wooden bressumer over chimney breast which in the C18 has reduced to form a small brick chimney. Ground floor room to end right has thick separate ceiling beams and large wooden bressumer to fireplace. Above ground floor the house appears largely altered in C18 with jowled posts with cut profile, some stick balusters to 1st floor and a through pulin roof with collars and plank doors to attic.
