Corner terrace house with shop. c.1820, Portman Estate development. Stock brick; slate roof concealed. 3 storeys. 2-windows wide with 2 windows and entrance to Rossmore Road return. Semicircular arched doorway in stucco architrave. Mid C.19 shop built over front garden, with pilasters and entablature-fascia; square headed shop door with fanlight. Recessed glazing bar sashes to return and to 2nd floor facing Lisson Grove the 1st floor windows as French casements. Parapet with stone coping. G.L.C. plaque records residence of the painter Benjamin Haydon and of Charles Rossi.
