Formerly hay barn, later 6 mill workers cottages, now 4 houses, C18 with late C18 alterations to cottages for Samuel Greg. C20 restoration. English garden wall bond red brick. Welsh slate roof and 2 brick chimneys. Rectangular plan with 2 cottages added to rear. 2-storey, 8-bay south front. Cambered brick heads to 4 restored 2-light small pane iron casements and 4 half glazed doors below. Flat heads to 4 similar windows above. It is possible to see the piers of the former hay barn and the Gothick arch in the west gable. Each gable has a door and windows to cottages at rear.
The most obvious example of the first phase of development when Samuel Grey converted existing farmbuildings to mill workers cottages.
