Former public house. c1838 with mid century elaboration. Stucco, slate roof. Brash public house classicism.
Corner site. Three storeys and mansard. One window to Long Acre, bowed one-window corner and three window return to Bow Street. Pilastered public house frontage with corner entrance, under entablature. Architraved sashes to upper floors, each floor articulated by pilasters. Heavy entablature with frieze of festooned ox masks above first floor and crowning cornice and blocking course. Scrolls surmounting the bowed corner and elaborated upper storeys to Bow Street.
