Terraced town houses. c.1810-11, with some mid C.19 alterations), by J.T. Parkinson as part of his Montagu-Bryanston Square development for the Portman Estate. Stock brick with channelled stucco ground floor; slate roofs, concealed except at No. 7. 5 storeys and basements, No. 7 of 4 storeys with dormered attic in mansard. 3 windows wide. Semicircular arched doorway to left, except Nos. 11 and 12 in reverse; panelled doors in pilaster jambs, Nos. 10-12 with inset Greek Doric columns, and fanlights - those of Nos. 10 and 11 retaining original radial patterned glazing. 2 ground floor sashes set in segmental bow; except for No. 7, mid C.19 stucco canted bays rise above segmental bows through 1st and 2nd floors, finished off with cornices and blocking courses and mostly with oblong or enriched panels over 1st floor cornices; otherwise recessed sashes under flat gauged arches; those of No. 7 with stucco architraves. Plat band finishing off ground floor stuccowork. Crowning stucco cornices and blocking courses, No. 7 with plain stone coped parapet. Continuous, cast iron, lattice patterned balcony to 1st floors. Cast iron area railings with acorn finials.
