7/125 Cow house and garage - approximately 10 metres to north-east of Little Hill Farmhouse

Cow house, now used partly as a garage. Late C17 with C20 alterations. Timber framed with red brick nogging and on high brick base (rebuilt C20); plain tile roof. 2 framed bays. One storey and loft. Framing: square panels, 2 from plinth up to wall-plate (the plinth probably replaces earlier lower framing). Left-hand part with C20 vertical boarding to front and pair of boarded garage doors; 2-leaf boarded cow house door off-centre to right and small window to right. Gabled eaves dormer with boarded door at rear. Left-hand gable-end has collar and tie-beam truss with queen struts. Interior: C19 inserted floor in right-hand bay; re-used C16 beam in right-hand bay set upside down, with wide joist mortices and wave-moulding with run-out stops. Little Hill Farmhouse is not included in this list.
