Two houses. Circa mid C18 extended with second house in circa late C19 or early C20.
Local slate-stone rubble. Cement-washed rag slate roof with gable ends and bitumen
coated rag slate roof with hipped ends to rear house on left. Brick stack on left
hand gable end, stone rubble stack on right hand gable end and rendered axial stack
to rear wing on right.
Probably originally a 2-room plan with entrance to right of centre. Extended in
circa early C19 with single-storey lean-to outshot across front elevation and low 2-
storey extension of 1-room plan on left hand gable end. Further extended to rear of
left-hand extension with second house in circa late C19 or early C20. The 2 rooms
heated by a central axial stack. Overall 'L' shaped plan.
2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2 window front elevation with single storey lean-to outshot
across front. The outshot has a 4-pane casement, plank door and C20 window to right
all with gabled half-dormer roofs. The first floor has two 2-light casements with
glazing bars. To left, the 2-storey extension. The rear wing on left has 2 PVC
windows on the ground floor and 2 similar windows in gabled half dormers to first
floor. The casements have been retained on the rear elevation of this wing.
Interior not inspected.
