House. Altered to 3 cottages. Mainly mid-C19 but retaining some
C17 elements. Thin coursed rubble, dressed quoins, stone slate
roof. 2 storeys, 3 irregular bays. 1st bay projects slightly and
has quoined angles, doorway with monolithic jambs to left of large
window with plain-stone surrounds. 1st floor blind. 2nd bay has
doorway with composite jambs, Tudor-arched lintel with spandrels
and stop-chamfered surround; window to each floor with tie-stone
jambs. 3rd bay (No. 1) has doorway with monolithic jambs and
window with tie-stone jambs to each floor. 1st floor retains 4-
paned sashes, ground floor windows altered to casements. 3 stacks
to ridge. Rear has 2 windows to ground floor with double-chamfered
surrounds. Left hand return has 2 bays of windows with plain stone
surrounds and projecting sills. Rear angle cut back with broad
chamfer running out with corbelled stone to just above the ground
floor window.
