Farmhouse, now cottage. Probably C17. Rubble, stone, slate and slate roof, end stacks. 2-room plan with catslide outshot and bread oven at side of junction with catslide. One storey and attic. Two windows, C19 casements evenly spaced and 2 gabled half-dormers. Gabled entrance, probably C19 under stone roof leading to moulded door frame and ledged door with spear-headed strap hinges. Interior: closely-set ceiling joists, run-out stop-chamfers to beam above plank and muntin screen which has round door head to right end and square head with ledged door to left end. Farther room from entrance, beyond the screen, has chamfered beam with broach stops. Ledged round-headed door to left side of chimney leads to stone-newel stairs lit by splayed windows. Roof truss has no tie-beam; instead V-brace above collar is supported by 4 studs joined by rails, except for a central gap for door between 2 upper rooms.
