Longhouse, now cow house. Probably late C17 - early C18 with mid - late C19 extension. Rubble, corrugated iron over stone slate roof with end stack to left hand side onto which is attached C19 house. Longhouse: one storey and attic, 4 bays, 2 small square windows to left hand side and 3 doors to centre and right all roughly evenly spaced; loft-entry to right hand gable. C19 part links to longhouse across the latter's end stack, 2 windows to each floor all 6-pane sashes, entrance in front of stack. Interior: longhouse has large oak C17 lintol to fireplace and signs of upper floor joists to its two domestic left hand bays, internal but- tress between right hand window and left hand door further marks division between human and animal accommodation. First roof truss to right of fire- place contains interrupted truss for door, second truss has central post from tie to collar and light scantling in herringbone arrangement partly covered by plaster, right truss has raking struts from tie to rafters. Conspicuous landscape feature.
