Built in two halves, c.1845 and c.1886. Date on arch keystone: WS 1886. Railway viaduct. Large coursed slightly rock-faced stone. Some rusticated and some ashlar dressings. Ashlar string course at springing of arches. 15 semicircular arches built in two halves, each carrying two tracks. Also, smaller arch at west end. Southern half has stone vaults. Northern half has brick vaults. Piers are slightly battered. Three piers at each end. Continuous parapet on ashlar string course, with ashlar coping. Most westerly arch (north side only) has date and inscription on keystone: WS 1886
