WELLS ROAD 1. 5245 (East Side) Nos 181 and 183 [formerly listed as No 183 (The Manse)] SO 7742 10/80 1.1.70. II GV 2. Early-mid C19. Two storeys, stucco, hipped slate roof, wide eaves. Ground floor rusticated. Plain band at cill level, plain pilasters divide the 1st floor of the main block into 3 bays. Three C19 windows, hung sashes with glazing bars, moulded shouldered architraves. Two ground floor windows in shallow cambered-head recesses. Central round-headed door opening with reeded architrave surround, panelled door, arched fanlight. Portico with flat entablature on 2 columns with carved capitals. Wing with one window set back slightly to right, 2-window wing to the left. The wings are in similar style, but without pilasters and not rusticated. That to the right has an extra, modern window. Now 3 flats.
