2 cottages, converted to showroom. C16 or C17 remodelled C20. Timber-
framed front between rubble side piers; plastered, partly exposed C20
timbers; Cotswold stone roof, C20 chimney to right. One storey and attic
garret. Wall plate of considerable scantling and chamfered member below.
Shop front consists of a lean-to projection on rubble base with wide
central raised and hipped-roof entry all stone-roofed. The construction
of the shop front includes recycled timber said to be telegraph poles, but
could be former boat masts. Interior: raised ceiling, roof-structure not
inspected; Tudor arch fire-place said to be concealed in South wall
(whereas chimney stack is in North wall!).
